Terms of Service

1. Who we are

CL SourceBOM ("the Service") is operated by Connect Logic ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at nayyier@connect-logic.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

CL SourceBOM helps electronic engineers source, price, and optimize Bills of Materials by matching parts against authorized distributors (Digi-Key and Mouser) and returning ranked offers. Results depend on third-party data and are provided for engineering guidance only.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be of legal age or have authority to bind your organization to these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to send spam.
  • Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights of others.
  • Interfere with the Service's security, probe, scan, scrape at scale, or introduce malware.
  • Reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service, or circumvent technical limits (including quota gates).

5. Intellectual property

We retain all rights to the Service, including its software, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under your active plan. You retain rights to BOM data and content you upload; you grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to operate the Service.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

7. Service level and disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor the accuracy, availability, pricing, or stock levels reported by upstream distributors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where non-excludable.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination you may export your BOM data for a reasonable period, after which it may be deleted.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Connect Logic is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
